Like most places in Vietnam, maintenance is a bit of an issue. However, breakfast was great and staff were truly helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Hotel was very close to shops, restaurants, Train Street and the lake.

This hotel is a gem inside the old quarter, excellent location, amazing staff. All the staff are authentically warm and helpful and work to help you have the very best time in Hanoi. We had 1 maintenance issue in our room and staff arrived within 3 minutes of us calling. Wow. The Onsen / spa was wonderful after walking many kilometers on the charming streets. Michelin restaurants are around every corner. Come to Hanoi and have a fabulous time.

We have beeen travelling all around Vietnam and this is our favourite hotel. The location is fantastic and is close enough to everything without being completely in the middle of the centre. It’s not too loud with traffic which is amazing. This is the comfiest beds we have encountered and more importantly the pillows were amazing. All staff were kind and so helpful. We loved this hotel and would most definitely return. The WiFi and aircon were great and we are fussy about aircon !
